FAQs

General Health and Wellbeing

We advise all participants to assess their own suitability for the walk.  Campus to Campus and KSA Consulting Ltd take no responsibility for the individuals taking part in the walk.  We value everyone’s support and interest in the walk, so if, for whatever reason you feel unable to walk, please join the community to remain included in all our conversations and ongoing work in student mental health.

Walk Terrain

There are three official walks in May 2025.  Further walks will be organised across the calendar year.  Each walk will be under 15miles.  We aim to craft all our walks around the countryside but on occasion our walks will start with a short amount of 'walking by the road' to get to the start location.  We have tried to avoid routes which are too hilly or uneven underfoot but we are walking in the British countryside and so this cannot always be avoided.  All participants walk with the responsibility of their own health and safety in their own hands.  Campus to Campus will offer signposting to first aid points where walks begin at university campuses.
We advise suitable walking footwear, with a sturdy sole and layers of clothing which can be adjusted depending on the weather.

Mental Wellbeing - Supporting one another on a walk

All our events provide an opportunity to connect with students and professionals who may wish to share their story.  We want to create a safe, non-judgemental space where individuals can talk freely and without fear.  This is a pressure-free environment so no conversation should be forced or continued without consent.

Mental Health Training

We run complementary mental health first aid training across the year to support people who may wish to learn more about how to hold the space when having a conversation around mental health.

How do I signpost for help?

At the inaugural walk (Royal Holloway London) our team will have a number of professionals in mental health and wellbeing at the event.  These professionals will wear an event t-shirt to be easily identifiable.   As our community grows we will have affiliated partners displayed on our website and in our literature for you to get to know in the event you may need to signpost anyone for further support.

Is there a limit on how many of my team I can bring along?

If you are joining us as a professional (rather than as a student) then we recommend a limit of 50 individuals per company.  We ask all individuals who are joining us for online events, in-person events or walks to register in advance via our event page which is updated regularly.
Support Campus to Campus in sponsorship
Our mission is powered by our Founder and our sponsors.  We are extremely grateful for your consideration to become a sponsor.  If you would like to hear more about our packages which are designed to give back in the most intentional ways, please drop us a message and we will be only too happy to discuss them with you.

Thank you for getting in touch

Who can join the walks?

The walks are open to students, professors, professionals, experts in mental health, parents, guardians…in short, we welcome anyone who feels able and willing to participate in showing support for such an important initiative.  If you don’t feel able to or cannot join the walks, we invite you to join our community as it builds.

Am I able to film or take photos at Campus to Campus events?

Campus to Campus brings individuals together in conversation around student mental health.  We strongly advise that individuals do not film private conversations.  Many of our walk and in-person events will have official event photographers and videographers on site.  They will be capturing content for a documentary, social media and  our website, it may also be used in other media.
We ask that if you do film any of your own content of the event that you do not invade privacy and act with discretion.  If you are filming close up content, please get the permission of the individuals within to approve before sharing on any online platforms.

I would like to sponsor Campus to Campus: Stories in Motion

Our series of events are the first of their kind in this space.  They will continue across 2025 and beyond and are designed to raise maximum awareness and impact for student mental health, and suicide.  The support you show through sponsorship funds the team and ongoing community beyond the walks themselves as we work to make a profound impact in this space.  There are three sponsorship packages available, and each include opportunities to deliver transformational talks, workshops and programmes of activity across institutions in the UK, reaching the students and their networks in ways that matter.
If you'd like to support us in sponsorship, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Is Campus to Campus a Charity?

Campus to Campus is an initiative, but it is not a charity.  As we work to build our community we will invite various professionals across the space of education, mental health, wellbeing including those who are students and care-givers to join an advisory board, shaping the direction of travel for its work in changing the landscape of student mental health and suicide.
